Head of Communication & PR, CEVT

Maria has some 20 years of experience in different leading positions within marketing, communications and public affairs – all with Gothenburg based companies characterized by high-end technology and innovation.

She comes with a degree in business economics and marketing and started her career with some 16 years at the Volvo Group. As head of marketing and deputy CEO at Lindholmen Science Park, her focus was on enabling acceleration of the region’s competitive edge, through innovation and collaboration programs between the industry, politics and academia.

Next to her formal positions, Maria has been engaged in several integration activities and held a number of board assignments.

In January 2023, Maria will take up the position as head of public affairs at the West Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
